Gourd Art

"Aspen Leaves"

Bonnie Delaney “Gourds are a gift from nature”, states Bonnie. Years ago, Bonnie’s grandmother gave her gourd seeds and she’s been hooked ever since! ¬†Surrounded by nature, her horses, garden, and family, Bonnie draws on her daily life for inspiration. Her use of color, textures, intricate carving and addition of turquoise, horse hair, exotic feathers and many other natural elements, makes her gourds uniquely fine art.

Rosalie Hill¬† “Pogy” has lived in the Colorado Rocky Mountains since the mid 1980’s, and currently resides in Lyons near Rocky Mountain National Park. Even working full time as a nurse, she always found time for art. In 2008, Pogy fell in love with gourd art and has been creating ever since. She cannot imagine a time without a room full of gourds. She draws from all her past artistic endeavors and applies them to her gourd art.
